Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) has successfully concluded a Staff Development Workshop at Kudakudhinge Hiya on 2 March 2013. The 7 hour workshop, facilitated by ARC’s Senior Consultant on Child Protection, Ms. Hawwa Zahira, was conducted from 17 February- 2 March 2013 for over 40 staff members.
The sessions covered within this period included Child Development, Health and Hygiene, Speech/Communication, Behavioural Issues and Types and Signs of Abuse. Certificates were awarded to participants tonight, at the closing ceremony held at Kudakudhinge Hiya.
