Lintel Investments and Management Services Pvt. Ltd. (Lintel) has joined ARC’s Corporate Ambassadorship Programme today, as a Supporter of Children’s Rights in Maldives.
At the official signing ceremony, which took place today, to coincide with the Children’s Day, ARC expressed sincere gratitude to Lintel for their commitment and dedication to protect and promote the rights of children in the Maldives. As a Corporate Ambassador, Lintel will be providing crucial funds needed to expand advocacy and outreach efforts under ARC’s HOPE Campaign against Child Abuse.
Launched in 2010, ARC’s HOPE Campaign is being continued this year, with workshops for teachers, awareness sessions for parents and age-appropriate information sessions for students, in addition to a media campaign. The HOPE Campaign provides useful information on 4 key areas including how to help children Heal, the importance of Outreach, ways to Prevent abuse and how to Empower children against abuse. Through the HOPE Campaign, ARC urges the community to get involved by remembering the 4 ‘R’s; Raising Awareness, Recognizing Signs, Reporting Abuse and Reaching Out.
As a non-profit organization, ARC relies on generous contributions from the community to expand its work with children’s shelters, advocacy efforts, and nationwide awareness campaigns on children’s rights. As such, the Corporate Ambassadorship Programme was launched by ARC in 2014 and provides an opportunity for businesses to partner with ARC to improve the quality of life of children in the Maldives and to help strengthen the child protection system in the country, through corporate social responsibility.
