Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) announces a vacancy for the post of Treasurer, and invites its qualified members to apply for the position for the one-year term commencing from Jan 2019. The post of Treasurer is a voluntary post and is a member of ARC’s Executive Committee. The criteria for for the post is as follows:
(a) Being actively involved in one or more of the Committees for over a year
(b) Being endorsed by the Head(s) of the relevant Committee(s)
Please note that all Executive Committee Members are expected to participate in regular and special meetings, as well as oversee work on at least one of the ARC campaigns/committees.
Core functions for the post of Treasurer is to ensure that proper financial controls are in place and provide proper financial oversight in an open, accountable and transparent manner in line with acceptable standards of accountability.
