Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) wishes to express sincere appreciation for the donation of MVR 100,000 made to this organization today, on behalf of Late Ms. Nasira Abdulla, by her family.
We note with great admiration that despite the numerous challenges that she faced, Ms. Nasira remained strong in her quest to lead an independent life. Bearing that in mind, we have chosen to utilize these funds for our RESPECT Campaign that promotes social values in the society, with a special focus on anti-bullying. This campaign also aims to encourage positive and respectful behavior, courtesy and civility in children.
As a non-profit organization, ARC relies on such contributions from the community to conduct and expand our campaigns and projects to promote the rights of the child in the Maldives. We take this opportunity to convey our heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Nasira’s family for their support to this cause.
