Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) signed an agreement with Ministry of Youth, Sport and Community Empowerment today, to work collaboratively and engage with communities in the area of promotion and protection of the rights of children. The agreement was signed by Founder Zenysha Shaheed Zaki and Minister Ahmed Mahloof respectively.
Under the agreement, ARC will be working in partnership with the Ministry to empower communities by raising awareness on preventing child abuse, empowering the girl child, promoting social values, promoting good health and promoting and protecting the rights of children with disabilities. Through this one-year partnership, activities will be conducted in different atolls across the country.
