Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) partnered with Maldivian Red Crescent (MRC) to provide first aid training for the staff at Kudakudhinge Hiya. Maldivian Red Crescent, an independent humanitarian organization conducted the 7 hour training program at Kudakudhinge Hiya, Villingili, which houses over 60 children of all ages.
ARC recognizes first aid training as a necessary skill, vital for caregivers at the shelter, as it prepares individuals to respond to emergency situations with skills needed to potentially save a life. 18 staff members at Kudakudhinge Hiya are now certified in basic first aid, under this program organized by ARC.
ARC is a non-governmental organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights and well-being of children in the Maldives.
