Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) announces partnership with Dhiraagu, for the Broad Band Road Race 2012. The focus for this years race is "Against child abuse and domestic violence" and ARCs stall at the event will
provide information on the different forms of child abuse, as well as promote internet safety for children.
We are pleased to invite you to run for this cause on behalf of ARC. Dedicate your run for the prevention of Child Abuse and support this cause at the race which takes place on Friday 29th June at Artificial Beach, Male'. Registration is open till Saturday 24th June and participation can be as an individual or as a team.
You can also help through sponsorship – individual participants or teams may get their friends, family or organization to sponsor their run or get their attire sponsored and place advertisements on their shirt to raise funds for ARC. Or you could also sponsor one or more of our Dhiraagu Broadband Road Race Ambassadors. Our Ambassadors for the event currently consist of professionals from different fields including doctors, pilots, teachers, singers & musicians, actors and sports personalities.
The funds we hope to raise from this years Dhiraagu Broadband Road Race will be used to develop the soon to be launched H.O.P.E (Heal, Outreach, Prevent, Empower) Campaign Against Child Abuse, as well as continue previous campaigns.
