Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) announces partnership with Dhiraagu for their Broadband Road
Race 2011. The focus for this year's race is "Prevent Child Abuse" and ARC's stall at the event will
provide information on the different forms of child abuse, as well as promote internet safety for children.
ARC would like to thank the many high profile personalities who are dedicating their run for the prevention
of Child Abuse and taking part in this race on behalf of ARC at the event which takes place on Friday 1st
July, at Raalhugandu, Male'. They include:
People's Majlis Members: Hon Ahmed Mahloof and Uz Imthiyaaz Fahmy.
Athletes: Olympic runners Dr. Hussein Haleem and Hussein Riyaz; footballers Hassan Adhuham of
Victory Sports Club (best under-19 player of 2009), Akram Abdul Gani of Maziya Sports and Recreation
Club, who also play for the national team; Badminton National Team player Zayan Zaki, Football and
basketball player Fadhuwa Zahir, the Muscle Load Team, and Hussain Zinan, Head Trainer of Radical Fitness South Asia.
